Welcome to the Career & Technology Center

We are a state-of-the-art 235,000 square foot integrated academic and career technical educational complex that we believe is the model for 21st Century high schools. We are located at the Central Mountain High School. Our programs are open to students from Bucktail Middle-High School and Central Mountain High School.

The Keystone Central School District has introduced and implemented an integrated career and technical curriculum that offers a totally integrated academic, career and technical education for all ninth through twelfth grade students. The integration model allows all students, from high liberal arts concentration to traditional career bound students, to explore and attain high academic and technical skills in their chosen profession. This system is designed to provide all students an educational exploration opportunity that is both rigorous and relevant for career and post-secondary success.

In addition to the integrated curriculum, the Career and Technical education delivery system has been overhauled and given the flexibility needed to adapt to individual student needs and academic college preparatory courses. We now offer programs on a two or three period schedule, over a 4 year delivery system.

We have been recognized by the National School Board Association as an exemplary model for a 21st Century high school.

We also offer our students several industry certifications and dual enrollment credits, as well as articulated credits.

Come join the fun from 9:30 AM to Noon for a great morning of summer activities! ☀️🌳

Welcome to the Summer Recreation Program, this program is designed to offer free, fun, safe, and supervised activities to any child five to 12 years of age within the Keystone Central Community. The program runs Monday through Friday, 9:30 to Noon, from June 22 until July 31 (Parks Closed July 3). This year 5 playgrounds are participating - Jack Bailey at Hammermill, Chapman Township (North Bend), Renovo by Lingles, Harvey's Run in Castanea, and Mill Hall Borough Community Park.

Public Announcement: Penn College Dual Enrollment Courses

The link for 2026–2027 Penn College Dual Enrollment is now live!

Only students who did NOT take a Penn College Dual Enrollment course during the 2025–2026 school year are required to complete the online application.

Penn College Dual Enrollment Application

Students who requested PCN General Psychology, PCN American Government, PCN Basic Web Development, PCN English Composition, or PCN Chemistry and have not registered will have their request dropped.

Penn College Dual Enrollment gives students the opportunity to take college-level courses and earn college credits while attending high school at Central Mountain High School. There is no cost to students, no need to leave campus, and courses are taught by CMHS instructors approved to teach at the college level.
